Split-Screen Podcast Clips With Both Speakers On Screen

SocialClip Studio turns a two-person podcast or interview into vertical 9:16 clips where both speakers stay on screen, stacked top and bottom, with captions sitting on the line between them. It is built for podcasters and interview shows. Smart Reframe does it automatically and is included in Starter ($14.95/mo) and Pro ($29.95/mo, unlimited videos), one flat price with no credits.

How it works

  1. Add your episode. Paste a YouTube, Twitch, or Kick link, upload a video file, or import one from Google Drive.
  2. SocialClip Proprietary AI picks the moments. It reads the whole conversation and cuts the strongest moments into short clips. Smart Reframe is on by default.
  3. Framing follows who is on screen. Shot by shot: one person fills the frame, two people are stacked top and bottom, three people get three rows. Captions sit on the seam between the speakers.
  4. Adjust if you want. In the editor, open AI Tools → Smart Reframe → Adjust framing. Drag the frame, pick one person or everyone, move or add a switch, or reset to auto.
  5. Download or publish. Download the clip, or publish and schedule it to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and X (Starter and Pro).

Which plans include it

Smart Reframe and the Adjust framing screen are not limited by plan. Starter and Pro both get them on every clip.

FAQ

Is there a tool that makes split screen podcast clips with both speakers for TikTok?

Yes. SocialClip Studio frames each shot by who is on screen. When two people are in the shot, the vertical clip shows both of them stacked top and bottom, with captions between them. It happens automatically when the clip is made, and you can publish straight to TikTok on Starter or Pro.

Do I have to set up the split screen myself?

No. Smart Reframe is on by default and detects how many people are in each shot. If you want a different framing, the Adjust framing screen lets you drag the frame, choose one person or everyone, and move or add a switch.

What happens when the camera cuts to just one speaker?

The layout changes with the shot. A single person fills the vertical frame, and when the shot goes back to two people the clip slides back to the stacked view.

Where do the captions go on a split-screen clip?

On the line between the two speakers, so neither face is covered. You can still drag captions in the editor.

Does it work with three people on a podcast?

Yes. Three people in the shot are shown as three stacked rows, with captions on the lower seam.

How much does it cost?

Starter is $14.95 a month for 10 videos. Pro is $29.95 a month, or $24.95 a month billed yearly, for unlimited videos. Split-screen framing is included in both.

Unlimited videos. One flat price.

Pro is $29.95 a month. No credits, no per-minute charges.
