How to Make Money Clipping in 2026

Clipping campaigns pay you for the views your clips get. Here is how they work, where to find them, and the workflow that turns one stream or podcast episode into a batch of paid posts.

What a clipping campaign is

A clipping campaign is a paid deal to repost someone else's content as short clips. You post, you submit, you get paid on the views.

Streamers, podcasters, and brands want their best moments everywhere on short-form video. They don't have the hours to cut and post dozens of clips a day, so they put up a budget and let clippers do it. You take their Twitch or Kick stream, their YouTube video, or their podcast episode, cut the strongest moments into vertical clips, and post them on your own TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels accounts.

Then you submit each post's link to the campaign. The campaign owner checks that it follows the rules, approves it, and you are paid on the views it earned.

How pay per 1,000 views works

The campaign owner sets a rate per 1,000 views. Your payout is that rate times your approved views.

Every campaign lists three numbers before you start: the reward per 1,000 views, the total budget, and often a cap on how much one video can earn. Rates vary per campaign, so read them first and pick the ones worth your time. When the budget runs out, the campaign ends, which is why clippers who post early and post often collect the most from a campaign.

Some campaigns also set a minimum, so a clip has to pass a certain number of views or earnings before it gets reviewed. Low-performing posts are filtered out; strong ones get paid.

You don't need followers. Pay follows the views on each clip, so a new account with a clip that hits gets paid the same rate as a big one.

Where to find clipping campaigns

Campaign marketplaces list open campaigns with their rates, rules, and platforms. These are the ones clippers use most.

Whop Content Rewards

Whop's view-based campaign system. The owner sets the reward per 1,000 views, the budget, and the allowed platforms. You post, submit the link, and approved submissions are paid by Whop based on their views. Campaigns come in two types: clipping (repurposing the owner's content) and UGC (original content made to a brief).

Vyro

A marketplace where creators browse brand campaigns, post short-form content that follows the guidelines on their own accounts, and earn on a per-1,000-views rate that each campaign sets.

Clipping.io

A clipping platform built around the same idea: clip viral content, post it across TikTok, Instagram, X, and other platforms, and earn on the views it generates after review.

Creators' own programs

Many streamers and podcasters run their clipping program through a Discord server or link it from their channel. Check the creator's socials for a clipping or "clip for me" link.

The clipping workflow, step by step

Find a campaign, grab the source, generate clips, post them, submit the views. Repeat daily.

Find a campaign and read the brief

Check the rate per 1,000 views, the budget left, the allowed platforms, and the rules: required tags or mentions, caption requirements, minimum length, and what content is off limits.

Grab the VOD or episode link

Copy the link to the exact video: the Twitch VOD, the Kick VOD, or the YouTube upload of the stream or podcast. If the campaign gives you files instead, download them.

Generate the clips

Paste the link into SocialClip Studio, or upload the file. You get up to 10 vertical 9:16 clips per run, each with captions burned in and a title and description written for each platform. Review them, trim if you want, and keep the ones with the strongest hook.

Post on TikTok, Shorts, and Reels

Publish straight from SocialClip Studio to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and X, or schedule the whole batch to go out hourly, daily, or weekly.

Submit your posts for views

Paste each post's link into the campaign's submission page. Once the owner approves it, your views count toward your payout.

Clip Your First VOD Flat rate. No per-clip credits.

Clipping pays on volume and on the first seconds of every clip. Get both right and follow the rules.

10 clips per run

SocialClip Proprietary AI reads the full transcript, picks the moments, and cuts up to 10 vertical clips per run with captions burned in.

Publish and schedule

Post to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and X from one place. Schedule a whole batch in one pass.

Flat rate, no credits

Pro is $29.95/month (or $24.95/month billed yearly) with unlimited generation. Starter is $14.95/month for 10 videos a month. No per-clip credits.

How to make money clipping: FAQ

How do clippers get paid?
Through clipping campaigns. A streamer, podcaster, or brand sets a rate per 1,000 views and a budget. You post clips of their content on your own accounts, submit the links, and once a submission is approved you are paid on the views it earned.
How much do clipping campaigns pay per 1,000 views?
The campaign owner sets the rate, so it varies per campaign. The rate, the budget, and any per-video cap are listed in the campaign before you start. Pick campaigns where the rate and the content both fit how you post.
What is Whop Content Rewards?
Content Rewards is Whop's system for view-based campaigns. The campaign owner sets a reward per 1,000 views, a total budget, and the allowed platforms. Clippers post content that follows the requirements and submit it, the owner reviews each submission, and Whop pays approved submissions based on their views.
Do I need followers to start clipping?
No. Campaigns pay on the views each clip gets, not on your follower count. A new account with a strong clip gets paid the same rate as an established one.
Which platforms do clippers post to?
TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels are the main ones, with X and Facebook on some campaigns. Each campaign lists which platforms count toward payment.
What tool do clippers use to make clips fast?
SocialClip Studio. Paste a Twitch, Kick, or YouTube link, upload the file, or import from Google Drive, and get up to 10 vertical clips per run with captions burned in. Publish or schedule them to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook, and X from one place. Plans are flat rate with no per-clip credits.
